So we haven't done shit in a while because I'm in Tallahassee now. We don't plan on breaking up as a band. I'll be coming back to Miami in August where we intend on playing a string of shows, once we find them. We'll also looking into re-recording the songs we curently have (because I think they sound terrible) and maybe doing a couple acoustic tracks. So, yea we're not broken up or breaking up. So soon there will be changes, new songs, re-made songs, and hopefully some shows. Maybe merch? Eh, we'll see. peace. Thanks friends for your help.

We do have a show coming up on the 5th of May at the 8-Bit. We were supposed to play there last friday, but the show was canceled the day before. Hopefully this one will go on as planned. We also have a show at Revolution, we're one of 52 bands. If we do really well, it may help us out in the future. $15 is the price, that's not so bad, considering its 52 bands. So I guess we'll start using this thing more often. Peace.

So, last night was Pitch's first performance. In my opinion it wasn't that good, but bands all start some where some how so it's all good. The amp I was using kept messing up so i was inaudible for moments at a time. I don't think we'll ever play at Little Hoolies again and Starbucks. Two places we won't play again, at the rate we're going we should just give up, lol. But the fact that this was on my birthday was awesome. Thanks for the people that came, i am very sorry that you couldn't actually get in. For the people that didn't show up, you didn't miss anything. If it matters, the setlist we played was:

Despite Alex's departure from the band, we're starting to get back into doing things. Had a practice with some minor delays, but still rocked (lol). Next week we're planning to play at Little Hoolies, the 25th to be exact. We're gonna attempt to record over the summer, we're gonna try this ourselves. Kinda doing the whole DIY thing. So expect some decent sounding recordings up here this summer. I will definetly let you people (all 2 of you who actually read this) know about what's goin on on next thursday. Peace.

Update of Band.

Pitch's first performance was last year April 21st 2005. From there the rock Trio Phil, Alex, and Rob picked up band members Santiago on Drums and Jeff on Vox. Sometime around november Robert left because of other commitments and a job, and as the 1 year anniversy appoarched a tension between lead guitarist Alex and the other members grew. And on the 1 year mark of the start of the band Alex announced his decision to leave us.

But Pitch is still planning on practicing and making music together. Once construction finishes in our drum Santiago's house finishes we will continue to practice as a full band again. In addition we have a show planned for Thursday May 25th at the Little Hoolies bar across from the Falls next to Outback Steakhouse. Hopefully we can see you all there.

Tomorrow is the Correctional Fluid thing going on again over at Starbucks. Jeff and Alex aren't gonna be in Miami. They're gonna be on some trip for some club for some school. I will be there at the C-Fluid thing goin on over there at Starbucks. If you have absolutely nothing else better to do, come check out Phil, alone, at Starbucks. I'm gonna do some songs with my homey Blake, and I'm gonna recite a poem (yay) written by Slug of Atmosphere. So...ummm..I guess I can try to take pictues of myself playing.

Hey guys, just reminding you that 2morrow after school is the IB Showcase in the auditorium at 3:30 at school. For 5 bucks you can check out all the IB talent (yay). We're gonna be doing an Against Me! cover, and we might do a second one. After that we're gonna be heading over to Fridays around 6:30, 7-ish at the falls. I think starbucks might be next friday, but i might have to work and that would suck a monkey's balls.

So far I put up two songs on this site. I guess we can kinda go in chronological order and kinda give a brief description and info on the songs.

Live at Little Hoolies:
This song is from the first time we played at Little Hoolies in April of 2005. That was our first time performing, it was Alex, Robert and I. This song is simple, its got a simple chord progression and bass line I came up with and Alex just kinda jammed over it. At the time it was only 3 of us, and the drummer there was a girl that was there.

Cover Redemption Song:
This is obviously a cover a Bob Marley's song 'Redemption Song'. My mom threw a graduation party for my cousin and Alex was over so we played for the people. The best song we played that night was unfortunatly never recorded. This is the only decent one that got on tape. Just me and Alex jamming for the people, just chillin in my backyard.

OKay, Friday in my opinion could of been much worse. We started off with 'Sink Florida Sink,' which in my opinion was a really shitty decision, and in hignsight(sp?) we should have played those 'Anarcho Punks are Mysterios' first. The 'Ararcho punks' song is a much more upbeat, faster song. The second song was Alex and Joseph playing the funk song and we passed the mic around and people did some freestyling. 3rd song was the instrumental to 'memories', 4th song was those 'Anarcho Punks are Mysterious' and i felt really good after that song. After 'sink florida sink' i felt like shit but after the final song i felt much better. Near the end of the night Phil did a couple acoustic songs with Tom and Tom's friend Morgan.

Afterwards we went to the Falls and were eating at fridays when we found out some of the people who went to see us play at starbucks were introuble at another part of the falls, so the whole band went searching for them and 2 of the guys were arrested but the girls got away safely, then pitch returned to the restraunt and enjoyed ourselves.
